ABOUT ZANDUR

Zandur was established in 2005 with the purpose of bringing high quality commercial flooring products to the market place with a focus on design, quality, innovation and environmental stewardship. Zandur is committed to offering products meeting these criteria at an affordable price. Our philosophy is simple - green products don’t have to be expensive and overpriced.

Founded by Rob McKee, a veteran in the cork and cork rubber industry, Zandur has the experience and relationships in the industry required not only to design the most innovative products, but also to offer the support and assistance to carry a specification from inception to post-installation. As the innovator behind cork rubber flooring and commercial grade cork flooring in the US, the Zandur management knows what it takes to make quality product that is easy to install and will perform exceptionally well.

With its own lab facilities in the US, and unique manufacturing partnerships, Zandur has the ability to continue to lead the industry in cutting edge green flooring products.

MANUFACTURING

Zandur has selected manufacturing partners throughout the world which conform to its corporate philosophy ensuring fair, ethical treatment of workers in a safe working environment with opportunities to advance in the workplace. Furthermore, we require all manufacturing partners to permit unannounced inspections by Zandur employees to ensure that operations are in keeping with our philosophies. In addition to labor relations, Zandur has selected its international partners based upon their experience in the industry as well as their proximity to raw materials. Since it is far less energy intensive to ship finished goods, our factories are always located within very close proximity to the bulk of the raw material supply.

QUALITY

Zandur is unique in the fact they we employ a dedicated director of quality control and manufacturing located in the country of product origin. This director is in charge of establishing a quality control program for the factory to ensure that products are made to Zandur’s specifications. This ensures not only that the highest quality raw materials are being used, but also ensures that the factory is fulfilling all of its other operational duties. Our current director is Mr. Ajay Pandey who is a graduate of the university of Warwick, UK with a degree in Engineering Business management, a degree from the University of Roorkee, India in Electronics and communication and is ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt and CQM from the American Society of Quality. He is also Six Sigma Black Belt certified from Six Sigma Institute in Glenview, Ill and lead assessor for ISO 9000 from Cranfield UK.
